Lodging will be in very cozy rustic cabins
Meals: You will have your choice of fresh Alaskan seafood, pastas, fresh salads, vegetables, and fruits. The mouth watering grilled salmon and halibut is a must to try!
MOUNTAIN TRAIL HIKING OPTION For the non running partner in the family, we now have a hiking guide, Linda Graham. The hiker will traverse the same trails as the runners, heading up the trails an hour earlier and should meet the runners somewhere along the trail.

HEALTH:
You should be able to run an hour without stopping and some hill training would be helpful (Stairmaster workouts), so you can come prepared and have a good time. We are not racing. We are taking you on some of the most spectacular runs you can imagine.
SAFETY:
There will always be communications while on the runs, first aid supplies, water, Gatorade, etc. Some of our staff are EMT Wilderness First Responders. We are fully insured.
WEATHER:
The weather will usually range from the high 50's to high 60's. with occasional temperatures in the 70's. Summers are great, but it can rain! Higher elevations will bring cooler temperatures, especially if it is overcast and rainy. During the month of June, the sun is up until about 11:00 PM. There is dusk for about 4 hours, then it is light again, so be prepared to experience daylight about 20 hours of each day. Of course the daylight shortens after summer solstice on June 21st. In late July the daylight is about 18 hours.
GEAR:
It is recommended to bring at least 2 pair of trail shoes, rain gear, light gloves, lightweight stocking hat, tights as well as shorts, and a windbreaker; all running-type gear of course! A fanny pack with a water bottle is also highly recommended. Sweatshirts and sweaters for cooler evenings.

All of our Mountain Trail Adventures originate from the Hope or Seward area on the Kenai Peninsula in south central Alaska.
The Kenai Peninsula is within 60 miles of Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. In addition to our majestic mountain scenery, the "Kenai" is home to some of the best salmon fishing in the world.
Visit our links page for more information on some south central Alaska attractions.
